Kawartha Lakes Mayor Ric McGee will open the show! Ric was elected Mayor in the City of Kawartha Lakes in 2006. In addition to his role as Mayor, he also devotes a great deal of time to other community oriented organizations throughout the province such as the Accessibility Standards Advisory Council. As a communications specialist with Toronto Public Library, Master of Ceremonies Edward Karek acts as a front-line contact for news and information about the library's initiatives. He thrives on the challenge of working on projects that explore the diversity of Toronto's neighborhoods, and is also an active supporter of theatre, ballet and opera, both on and off the stage.

Bookie Bell has been offering “Laughter Therapy Workshops” in the workplace with award winning results for over 10 years. Her workshops have shown that there is a need for stress relief in all walks of life, and her formula for stress relief is giggles and laughter. As Bookie shares her journey, she will inspire, motivate and create laughter like no one you've ever heard!
